1678. Change the Default Browser Application on Mac

I'm new to the Mac, and I'm an experienced Google Chrome user. I'd prefer that clicking links in emails would open Chrome, rather than Safari. How can I set up my computer so that Chrome is the default browser application?

If you want to ensure that Chrome is your default browser on the Mac.  It's a really simple change to make.  First of all, you need to ensure that you have Chrome installed.  Once you've got that,  open the System Preferences application and the general pane.  There you'll find an option for the default web browser.  Select Chrome from the list.  And you're all done.
