1717. Share Online Passwords
I have to agree sending passwords via email is always the worst choice you think that email is secure but in general it's not.
It's easy enough for a bad person to intercept emails in transit and look at the contents so I just don't send passwords that way.
You need to send passwords in some way that's encrypted. Lots of password manager programs I use, one called Dash LANE, Last Pass is another popular one. I have a means of sharing passwords among family members. It sends an encrypted file to that person via email but the file is encrypted so it can't be looked at and on the other end. The person receiving the password uses their software to and encrypt that and load it into their password manager. This is how I share passwords around my household.
We have an article on our website which lists a number of different ways you can use to share passwords because this is actually a useful thing and something lots of people want to be able to do. Just don't send passwords via email in general it's not a good idea.
